Our corporate university, Cross Country University (CCU), is committed to partnering with you in your professional development.
As an Assignment America nurse you will complete Web-based, accredited, continuing education that surveys the US healthcare accreditation and regulatory environment of care. These courses will help you understand your role and the standards that guide professionals and paraprofessionals providing safe and effective patient care.
CCU is nationally accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education (CNE) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC). ANCC credit is the gold standard for CNE and accepted by all US state and territorial licensing bodies. In addition to the initial survey course, you may, at your convenience, complete any of the more than 140 hours of free continuing education at the CCU learning site.
Cross Country University also provides clinical specialty testing in more than 100 disciplines and subspecialties. Completion of one of these nationally normed exams provides a virtually universally accepted validation of your credential for knowledge competence in that field. Once you have completed a specialty exam, nearly all Cross Country facility clients honor that initial credential so long as you are in continuous practice.
